Our Favorites Visit!!

My wonderful friend Sonia and her family: husband Wil and daughters Catalina and Siena came down from New Jersey for Marino's party and stayed with us for a few days. It was so much fun having them here! Marino really enjoyed having lots of company! Unfortunately, it was oppressively hot (100 + the whole week) so the heat derailed a lot of our plans, but we still had a great time. I love spending time with all of them, especially Sonia who knows me better than anyone else. And bakes me gluten-free cupcakes. :)

I heart bath pictures (especially ones that will cause embarrassment in teen years)!

On Sunday, we went to a sprayground to cool off. We all had a lot of fun, although some were braver than others (Marino being in the not-so-brave category).Miranda and Pacey also joined us (Pacey being in the brave category).

These guys were really into grapes last week. Here they are "sharing grapes together" according to Cat. The whale shirts are from my buddy Jill at Zingo Tots.


After a long nap, we headed over to the lake to check out the wildlife and attempt to take some pictures, which were relatively unsuccessful, since Cat and Marino just wanted to do this...

we actually all saw a HUGE snapping turtle in the lake, which was very cool.

Evan and I were discussing today our favorite "Cat Quotes" from her visit. Evan's is "I do it my big self" and mine was "kick ball like soccer."


After our walk, we watched Toy Story...these 2 were mesmerized!

Monday it was HOT! It got up to 104 degrees...too hot to do anything except stay inside or get in the pool. We did a little of both.
