Apple Picking at Homestead Farm

My mom and stepfather came to visit this weekend and we had lots of fall fun, although it felt more like summer (80 degrees all weekend!). Even with the heat, the leaves are changing and its looking like fall. Marino loves his grandparents, so he was excited for the visit!
Sunday, we all went to Homestead Farms to go apple picking. Apparently, apple season started early this year due to the heat, so word was this would be the last weekend to pick apples.

Marino found this amazing butterfly snacking on an apple. We watched it for a good 10 minutes - it was really gorgeous!

After 10 minutes of "oohhing" and "ahhhing" over it, Marino asked "Can I step on it?" ::sigh:: boys!

Out of no where this weekend Marino started posing for pictures. I'm so happy! When we went to take this one, he automatically hugged my mom around her neck - so cute!

He really enjoyed apple picking!

They had some animals there, too.

But not too tired to jump!
