5. Marino is starting to use a handful of 2 word phrases. He's been saying "what's that" for a long time and "get down" for a month or so. Now he's also saying "got it", "did it" and "want it." He even said "Mama? Wanna get down" when I was getting him out of the car seat. Such a big boy.
4. We play a "where's the moon?" game after daycare everyday. As soon as we step outside to walk to our car, Marino starts looking around frantically until he finds the moon and then shouts "mooooooon!!!!!!!!!!" and points at it. If I say "what else do you see?" he will point and say "staaaa" (star). Future astronomer?
3. Santa came to visit daycare today and apparently my boy was not impressed. According to our daycare director, he freaked out. So glad we avoided a mall trip to see Santa this year! I'm sure once he knows Santa brings gifts, he will be more interested!
2. He started calling the dog by his full name, Maxis, but he can't pronounce the "x" so he calls him "mashis." It is seriously the most adorable thing I've ever heard (except, of course, how he says mommy). He also "talks" to Max, so he'll say "Mashis? woof woof woof woof?" and wait for him to respond:)
1. Evan put gloves on him for the first time today (Evan's gloves) and Marino was in love with them? He just kept staring at them and moving his hands in disbelief!
these always remind me of the little things that i have to be thankful for in my little bird.
