Every morning when we come downstairs in the morning, he points at the tree and says "AWWW!!". Here's some pictures of the tree trimming.
Marino's belly does look big in this picture!!
4. Having a toddler is sometimes like having a parrot, in that they let you know when you say something wayyyyyyyy too much! Everytime Marino sees Max, he says "get down!!" no matter what Max is doing (he could just walk by and Marino says this). I think we say that a little too much (and need to be nicer to poor Max!!).
3. One fun thing our family does is have "howl-a-longs" with Max where all 4 of us howl. Max will always get into it if we start and Marino chimes in with "wowowowowowo." He thinks it is hysterical!
2. Marino has started "singing" along in the car with the radio. This is a decent indication I need to only play toddler-friendly music. Yesterday, he was singing the Bobby Valentino song "Beep Beep Beep" ("beep," "Go!," "beep," "go"). This morning he was singing Usher (no discernable words, but he was singing). I think I need to stick to the Yo Gabba Gabba CD.
1. Marino seems to have a lot of empathy for other people. I've mentioned before that he is sensitive (Evan says its because he's a Cancer). This morning at daycare, one of his friends had a temper tantrum (not a bad one) and Marino was really upset. He stopped playing, just stood there staring with a sad look on his face. Even when the other little boy moved on, Marino still didn't want to play. I picked him up and threw him around a little and that seemed to snap him out of it. It will be interesting to see if he remains sensitive as he grows up.
Hey Sara! I saw your post earlier...that coat was from Company Kids. I ordered it in the spring {last year} and got it for $8!!!! It is filled with down! I highly suggest checking them out after the holidays! That coat is a 4t...so she should be able to wear it again next year!
